Ballard Hudson Middle School was awarded $50,000 to pilot in initiative to promote student and faculty wellness along with new-teacher retention.
The grant funds allow the school to implement technology solutions in three ways:
Extended Reality (XR) platform that offers immediate mental health support for students and staff
Mixed Reality New Teacher Orientation to support new teachers with continuous professional development
Middle Grades XR Summer Boot Camp to expose students to the tech industry
This initiative is made possible by a grant from the Georgia Foundation for Public Education.
