Teachers Pursue Tuition-Free Advanced Degrees Through Georgia’s BEST

“The Cobb County School District is proud to announce the expansion of its innovative recruitment and retention program for educators, Georgia’s BEST (Building Educator Success Together).

Last year, Superintendent Chris Ragsdale announced that Cobb educators could apply for the opportunity to pursue a tuition-free advanced degree through the new partnership with the University of West Georgia (UWG), the leading college of education in Georgia. Since its inception, almost 500 Cobb educators have enrolled in the Georgia’s BEST program, with the first class of Georgia’s BEST educators set to graduate very soon.”
