GA Teachers Changing Content or Grade Levels

The sky’s the limit. Teaching offers amazing benefits, including a wide variety of spaces and places to make a difference. Thinking about changing subject areas or grade levels? We’ll help ensure your impact continues in a fresh, new role, even before the homeroom bell rings.

Certificate Explorer

Sometimes, a teacher may change content areas or grade levels, which require an additional certificate field, endorsement, or upgrade past their initial certification. Visit the Georgia Professional Standards Commission’s (GaPSC) Certificate Explorer to search by subject area and grade level to view required teaching certifications and endorsements.

Do you have former field experience in business and industry? You may qualify to add a CTAE field to your GaPSC teaching certificate. For more information, visit GaPSC – Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education.
