Expired
If you wish to change school districts and your teaching certificate has expired, create a MyPSC account and follow the instructions for certificate renewal. If you haven’t met the renewal requirements, an employing school system may request a non-renewable certificate on your behalf to allow time for completion of renewal requirements.
You can apply for open teaching positions in any public school district in Georgia once your state certificate is renewed. With a valid certificate, you can also change school systems in the state without any additional requirements. However, if you want to teach a subject or grade level the certificate doesn’t cover, you’ll need additional endorsements. Once your Georgia teaching certificate is current, you can apply for open teaching positions in any public school district in Georgia.
